I feel so f cheated by Singtel!
I signed up for the Miohome bundle.
And for the mio tv, the channels are free for 12 mths only.
So when i saw they are charging me an extra of $30 plus,
I called and ask for cancellation of those channels!
TO MY HORROR, the operator said i cannot cancel cox under contract for 12 mths..
WTF? Den she said, the first 3 mths is free and now i have to pay for the remaining 9 mths.
But, i signed the package on May 2009.
So i wondered what’s happening.
Then I recalled… one day when im having lecture in sch,
some idiot fr Singtel called me and say, ‘we are offering you an extension of free channels on miotv
so you dun haf to cancel first’
Cox im in the lecture, I said okay and hung up.
FUCK, this guy din tell me it’s a contract of 12 mths for these channels, and only free for 3 mths.
Meaning, I actually had the 12 mths free channels when i signed up.
So they cheated me into the remaining 12 mths by gifing me 3 mths free
BUT the rest of the 9 mths i gotta pay!
Really bth Singtel lor… now i cannot trace back who called me during lecture to blame
And only can guai guai pay the bills!
Not to forget their internet connection sucks!
And mioTV got ntg nice to watch!
And my family dun use the family line.
I took the package cox i tot it’s quite okay for $50 per month.
Now it’s freaking $84 per month!
Walaoer, ppl still student neh..
Pls ppl, dun kena cheated by Singtel like i did.
